Herstyler Review and Hair routine

Monday, May 10, 2010

Hello guys!
As I mentioned in another post, I got around 2 weeks ago the Hersyler flat iron.
So far I am loving it!! It is a very sturdy tool and it came in a very cute fabric padded pouch.
Solid 100% ceramic plates and adjustble temperature. It goes up to 450.
My hair looks shinier and with no frizz :-)
High concentration of negative ions cuts straightening time in half.
Achieves desire temp. in approximately 25 seconds.

I was lucky to find it at amazon.com for $28 with free shipping! Target has it for $119!!! What is that? lol

Overall I am very very happy with it. I used to have a GVP flat iron from Sally's and the plates ended up chipping and after a while it was not heating properly.  This one on the other hand, a dream!

My hair routine:
Shampoo: Herbal Essences Color me Happy
Condtioner: Herbal Essences Color me happy ( avoiding roots)
Redken Smooth Down Heatglide Protector on damp hair ( avoiding roots)
Blow dry
Flat iron
John Frieda frizz ease ( just a little bit all over the hair focusing on the ends avoiding the top part of the hair)
My hair is oily so that's why I do this. If you have dry hair by all means apply conditioner to your scalp as well as the other products.

Hope this was helpful!

  4. Emy, if I am in the mood of having my hair done all week, I blow dry and flatiron like 2 times a week sometimes 3. My hair gets oily very fast! But there are weeks that I might do it only one time and then wear my hair in a pony tail for a few days.
