Laced Tunes

A couple of days ago it was all about romantic touches of lace.
 As you guys might remember,
one of my fave pieces from Free People is the Voile trapeze. This is Gypsan's
version of it and love it as well!. This one is a little
longer on me and this coral shade is beyond gorgeous!
I decided to pair it up with another Gypsan favorite.
This laced vest looked really nice
as a layering piece.

Here I present to you my beloved guitar.
Singing, playing, songwriting, has been my number
one passion since I was a little girl.
Being able to lead worship every Sunday is such
a blessing, and I am so grateful....
Today we leave for the Southeast Calvary Chapel
Pastor's Conference and hubby and I are
 very excited!

Lately...

"Started a journal to keep my monthly bible verses.
I'm determined to memorize more of them.
Nothing like feeding the soul with God's word".

" The other day hubby opened a box where we keep our old pictures.
It's funny how with digital technology we don't print pictures anymore.
We keep them on our laptops or social media albums.
I want to change that. Anyways, I found in that box this
picture of myself at 24 years old. Little did I know
we were going to be doing more photo adventures in the future
with the blog.
I also realized how I've always been a boho girl"

" I dried this bunch of Purple Statice and it's
amazing how the color is still intact"
Nature wonders..."

" I made these little birds to add a little something in our
room since it is all  a beige color.
I got the idea from IKea's wall decals.
To make these, I used scrapbook paper!"

" I've been into mauve tones lately. So I made this lip mix

Last night we went to East End Market.
It is a neighborhood market that showcases
food entrepreneurs, artists, and chefs.

Porch therapy is a really cool store with all things green!
We bought this cute air plant and now it's sitting
g on our table.
On  Pinterest you can find so many cool ways to decorate with
 these lovely plants.

I'm so happy is Friday..
what are you guys up to?

5 Minutes Make up

5 Minutes Make up

Ok, ok... maybe it's going to take a little more than 5 minutes, but still, this is a short routine than can
enhance our beauty and makes us look refreshed!

A powder foundation is perfect to quickly even out your complexion, and this one from Make up Forever
provides the perfect coverage.
If blemishes or any other marks are present, use a bit of concealer on those spots first!
Maybelline Fit me, is still the one that I use on a daily basis. For the cheekbones, Fratboy blush has been one of those HG blushes since it looks so natural and gives a beautiful glow.

Adding a soft lipstick shade is a simple and quick way to change up your look and MAC Chatterbox is a really
nice everyday shade.

And last but not least mascara and brows!
These little guys can make such a huge difference,
helping to make the eyes more open (mascara) and framing our face (brows)
L'oreal Telescopic, helps to fan the lashes out and make them longer thanks to it's small fibers.
Benefit gimme brow, is a product that helps to fill in the brows and give them more definition.
The tiny wand it has, makes it for a really
easy and fast application!

What's your your 5 minutes routine?

and have a great weekend!

Forgotten Fields

Hello everyone!
I hope you had an amazing Christmas(if you celebrate it) and new year's Eve.
We were very blessed to have the opportunity to share the holidays with special
friends that happen to be living now in Orlando. Everyday that passes by,
I thank God that he allowed us to move because it has been for the best so far.

For the past few weeks, every time we visit one of our friends, we pass by this huge
field of orange trees. You can still see some trees that bear fruit, but others are all dried up.
As I am writing this, it came  to my mind that as we walk in life, around were we live, or work,
some of us are full of life, and others aren't.

In this orange field, it is so obvious to see which one is which.
But with us, sometimes it's hard to tell who is the one all dried up inside.
Today as you go, be kind, give a smile, encourage, because you never know
who really needs it!

Here, I am wearing this Gypsan tunic
that I received a while ago.
The detail I love the most about it are the bell sleeves!
But of course, you gotta love the romantic
touches of a sweet bow and crochet too.
We were going to run errands that day,
so I wore a simple pair of jeans and sandals.

Have a great week!
