Urban Outfitters Haul ;-)

As I mentioned in my Project 365 last night, I went to Urban Outfitters, as well as others stores but yesterday was one of those days were everything just does not fit!
I was about to give up when hubby came with this dress and a cardigan. I really loved the dress but the cardigan I was not feeling it. 
He kept looking and found this one and surprisingly I loved the outfit.
Hubby always tries to pick clothing for me but 90% of the time I don't like! lol
Yesterday, he got it right :D

The cardigan is a little see through with a ruffle/ wavy detail on the front.
It looks very delicate, gives that sweet touch!

Memorial Day shopping!

Hi guys!
I'm writing this quick post to say Happy Sunday!
We are getting ready to go to church and then we plan to do some shopping!
Theres a lot of sales going on this weekend because of the Memorial holiday so we want to
take advantage of that!
I plan to visit Zara, Urban Outfitters, Macy's, and Nordstrom since I saw some things I liked online so hopefully I'll find them in the store.. we'll see what happens ;-D

Hubby's Bday pics

First my son, and now hubby.
Today mother in law arranged a simple surprise gathering to sing Happy Bday to him..
The official day si tomorrow so we'll se what he wants to do.

We started hubby's Bday celebration today by going to the beach!
He loooooooves it so much. 
For lunch, we went to a pretty cozy restaurant Called Sugar Reef ;-)

Project 365 #23

This is one of my hubby's Bday gifts.
He's been wanting this book light  for soo long so he can stay in our bedroom reading while I sleep. 
He likes to read late at night lol
He always mentions this, but never buys it.. 
he keeps forgeting until the moment happens.
So I got him one :D


HAUL: Mango and CVS

Hi guys :-)
I'm so excited about this that I have the urge to share ASAP!
I just came back from  Bday shopping and visiting my mother in law.

After shopping for hubby today I saw the Mango outlet and  wanted to check it out.
As I was coming inside the store I remembered this...
...you guys know that I fell in love with this dress!
She said she got it in 2009.
My heart started racing, I kept thinking that  the dress could be there since  outlets
usually have last season stuff.
I did not want to be all disappointed so I stopped thinking about it lol and looked around.

When I was getting close to registers...

BOOM!!!! The dress was there!!!!!
I grabbed the dress in 2 sizes and ran to the fitting room.
I tried the Medium and it was a total failure.. it was to tight and uncomfortable :/
I got the Large one and in my mind I was:
"Please  fit" "Please fit" lol
When I tried it on, I went out to the huge mirror they have in the back...
aaaaaaaaaaaand it fits!!!

You can imagine the excitement I felt right?
Of course I bought it and I am very happy with the purchase.
It look pretty good and now I just need a nice belt!
It was on sale so I just payed $27!

And now a pic of my awesome finding!!

I also went to CVS and bought the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. 
I've heard good reviews  about this product,so since my little one broke my Clinique one into pieces, I decided to take the plunge and try it.

Feeling inspired by: Jewelstyle

I found this blog a couple of days back and even though I am already following other great fashion blogs, this one really inspired me and made me feel like doing a wardrobe makeover!
Her style is so similar to mine..

I'm not sure if this has something to do that I'm very close to the 30's, lol..but looking at her blog.. I just want to look elegant, put together.. but still with my style.

I wanna give a chance to stores like: Zara and Mango among others. I usually love what they have but never go in because I have in my mind the thought of Oh, but for 59$ for a top I can buy like 2 or 3 at forever21!

So I'm gonna put aside that thought and really invest in  nice clothing pieces even if that means a little more out of pocket. Because then again,  I can have clothes that can look better and live longer. I love forever21, but some clothing are really like disposable after some washes.

 I'm so excited to start this wardrobe journey.. I already started buying some shoes which I have already talked about here..

I made this Crunchy elbows for my son. I got the recipe from The Seanky Chef cookbook"
Breading was done using Wheat germ, Almonds and Bread crumbs.
It tastes really good. But my picky eater said no! 
Oh well.. I'll try later on :D

Yesterday I took my  son for a walk. We saw a couple of butterflies, he was excited!

Here I am sharing with you guys an old pic that I love so much!
I bought this dress in a vintage store at ebay a few years ago.
I loved the 70's vibe of it.
Shoes were from Urban outfitters
and the earrings I got them at a dollar store.
I really love vintage and I am really wanting to go thrifting soon!

This picture was taken before baby.. I was so thin! lol
And my hair was super red!!! I love my hair like this but it is soo hard to maintain though.
But like I am, I know I'll do it again at some point hehe.

I still have this dress and I actually wore it for a photoshoot when I was 34 week pregnant.

I wanted to watch this movie after all the buzz about how good it was. I finally watched it last night with hubby and we loved it. It is based in a true story and Sandra Bullock's performance was great!
