The first time I heard the word "layering" was from my
husband when I moved with him to South Florida ten years ago! Living in an
island for over 20 years that word was a bit foreign to me. Even though we have
warm weather most of the year here in South Florida, we do get cold fronts and well, that
is the time to bundle up.
For some reason, I
have always struggled with layering, and I am so happy that I was able to
discover the blogger world and eventually learned to do it.
On this outfit, I incorporated a little bit of layering
using my Free People thermal seen here, underneath this super cute Oasap sweater. What I like about it is that
not only this is going to keep me warm, but having the bottom part of the
thermal peeking through the sweater gives a nice shape and soft femine detail.
I have been obsessed with pastels for the longest, so this sweater was a
no brainer. It has a high low detail that looks pretty cool and it is roomy
enough to be able to layer without feeling uncomfortable. For the makeup,I wanted to use some pastel hues as well so I did a mix of lavender, purple, and pink tones to complete the look!
PS: I am participating with this look in a Facebook Autumn contest from Oasap.
I would love if you guys can like my picture here!
Have a great weekend!
xoxo
