Gone with the Wind


Today was one of those days were everything
 seemed to go wrong.
The wind was wild, hair was all over the place,
humidity was hitting hard,
and I felt like the camera was not
loving me at all.
Nevertheless, we kept taking pictures until
 we were all overwhelmed by the weather and
 ran back to the car in desperate need
of air conditioner.
Back home, when it was time to choose
 pictures, I realized that not all of them
were bad and that the things
I was not loving about how I looked...
kind of went with the surroundings.

The Trouser Jean




To me, the trouser Jean is a timeless piece.
This style may not be “in” right now, but since 
I am not the kind of girl that follows trends to the T,
I chose today to wear them and I have to say
 I felt pretty good in them!

It is quite a simple silhouette but I liked it a lot.
I have always been a fan of the 70's so
 I felt kind of hippie with the wide leg jeans,
and the super straight hair!

I added a bit of a print with my handbag
 and a few accessories here and there.
I received weeks back this lovely necklace from 
Aliexpress.com 
and I just love how delicate and colorful it is.

It was a rainy today so excuse the muddy surroundings!

Hello lovelies!
Just wanted to make a quick post to remind you

Golden Berries


I am patiently waiting for Fall. 
Um.. nah, let's  change that.
I am desperate, I need Fall now!

I look forward to:
 70's temperatures
Pretty jackets
comfy boots
Nightly outdoor dinners
*sigh*

So on my attempt to make Fall look more
let's say... closer, I did this look today.




 To achive this look:

Eyes
Start by applying an eye primer of your preference.
I used Urban Decay primer potion.

Next, I used MAC All that Glitters
 all over my moveable lid with a flat brush.

Above the crease, I added my transition color
MAC Texture with a fluffy blending brush.

Then, I added MAC Sketch to add some
 depth to my crease with a smaller crease brush.

To make everything look well blended I took 
again my fluffy blending brush to
 blend any harsh lines.

With the same fluffy brush I added my highlight
underneath my eyebrows
with MAC vanilla pigment.

On my bottom lash line I took an angled 
eye liner brush to apply MAC Sketch and then 
I placed under just a bit of MAC Texture to give
a blended smokey effect!

For my liner I used L'oreal infallible gel liner 
on my upper lash line.
On my waterline, I applied Urban Decay perversion

Cheeks
I contour a bit my cheeks
using ELF Duo bronzer with a
 face angled brush.
I added Clinique Sunset Glow blush with 
a regular face blush brush.

Lips
I lined my lips using MAC Velvetella lip liner
and then filled them in using 
Shiseido  RS 619

And that pretty much completes the look!
