Road trips have been happening more often. The whole preparation and scouting places has become a new hobby of ours. Even our son loves the fact that he can have some sort of a mini camping experience out if it. Yesterday, we decided to drive up to Highland Hammocks, a state park located in Sebring. The place as you can see is magical.Big oak trees, over a 1,000 years old were all around bringing are jaws to drop and just be in awe! We walked through some trails and we snapped some pictures along the way. Oh and no, I did not walk with my JC's!
I put them on only for picture purposes, hehehe. We spent quite some time there and ended our evening with a picnic.

Now let's talk about this kimono! For such a long time I have been on the hunt for the perfect one and I finally found it. It combines a few things that I love like the fact that is purple, the fringe, the paisley print, and lastly, the velvet texture of it. I absolutely love it and I know I will be wearing it lots.

I hope you guys enjoy this post, and remember that my Oasap giveaway is ending on the November the 6th! For more details go here

Wishful Thinking

Gypsan Waterfall Vest and Wish bone Necklace c/o- Jeffrey Campbell Litas

Last week hubby and I were talking on how cool would it be to take pictures with morning lighting.
So on Saturday, we woke up really early and went on a roadtrip to the Everglades. I always enjoy the ride. My mind gets lost on the big sky and huge fields of Saw grass.
The view is really a feast for the eyes!

About this outfit, let me start telling you about this Waterfall Vest I received from a new store that I discover on Instagram. The name of it is Gypsan.com and the clothing is right up my alley.

Their handpicked bohemian and gypsy inspired pieces are really beautiful and I think this vest speaks for itself.
For this outfit, I wanted to play with soft and hard elements to get more of a boho -edgy look. And now, with this wishbone necklace, I wish you guys a very blessed week!

Gypsan is offering for a limited time a 20% off of the entire inventory! So you guys better hurry and check out their store.

The first time I heard the word "layering" was from my husband when I moved with him to South Florida ten years ago! Living in an island for over 20 years that word was a bit foreign to me. Even though we have warm weather most of the year here in South Florida, we do get cold fronts and well, that is the time to bundle up.
For some reason, I have always struggled with layering, and I am so happy that I was able to discover the blogger world and eventually learned to do it.

On this outfit, I incorporated a little bit of layering using my Free People thermal seen here, underneath this super cute  Oasap sweater. What I like about it is that not only this is going to keep me warm, but having the bottom part of the thermal peeking through the sweater gives a nice shape and soft femine detail.
I have been obsessed with pastels for the longest, so this sweater was a no brainer. It has a high low detail that looks pretty cool and it is roomy enough to be able to layer without feeling uncomfortable. For the makeup,I wanted to use some pastel hues as well so I did a mix of lavender, purple, and pink tones to complete the look!

PS: I am participating with this look in a Facebook Autumn contest from Oasap.
I would love if you guys can like my picture here!

Have a great weekend!
xoxo
