Today I wanted to share some items that I am

loving from the website called Chicnova!

They have the cutest things so as I was browsing the website I fell in love with these amazing tan woven sandals.

I am a huge fan of flats and these have such a laid back feel to them that I absolutely love.

Talking about outfits, I am getting ready to start posting outfit of the day again. I haven't done them in a while because it has been so so hot here in South Florida that it has been discouraging me to do so, even though I know other bloggers suck it up

and take pics in hot weather lol.

The Turban

The Turban seems to be like the perfect accessory for the summer. I love the endless possibilities when it comes to this piece of fabric. Printed or solid, it can definetely add some color and edge to any outfit! I have been obssesed with the ones from Disenos Lala Lala. They offer a wide range of prints and color and I can't wait to get my hands of them.

Sephora Birthday Gift!

I was so excited when I went to Sephora to pick up
my birthday gift and find out that I was going to finally
try the Benefit's They are real mascara!
I have read so many great reviews but the price always turned me off. Along with the mascara, came a little companion which is the Watt's up? Iluminator.

I tried the mascara by itself and the results were good but I was not completely sold. However, when I added to the mix a couple of coats of the L'oreal Telescopic mascara, the results were fabulous! My lashes looked longer but more voluminous!
I love that the wand makes it easy to separate the lashes giving them more definition.

The Watt's up? illuminator I was a little hesitant to try at first. Since I have oily skin, adding more shine is something that scares me lots, but since I had the sample I gave it a try... and.... I really liked it!

It gives a beautiful glow and the sample is quite generous! I love to use it under my brows, cupids bow, bridge of the nose and just a little on my cheeks which is the area I do not like to bring too much attention since I have noticeable pores.

Overall I am happy with my little samples!

Every Summer has its own story

Roaming around the internet I found these pictures that capture summer in such a beautiful way. Every summer new stories are written, and new memories are treasured in the deepest corners of our hearts. One place where I can feel so close to God is the beach. Just standing there looking at the big sky and ocean, I feel so small.... and I can have that moment of awe! He is such an amazing creator...

Summer time make up routine

It's Summer time! and for me is kind of exciting and frustrating. The exciting part of it are of course the lazy pool days, the sunny splashes at the beach and so on...
The frustrating, is the make up department. Living in South Florida during summer is not an easy task. Humidity is my enemy and it makes it really hard to wear make up!

Today I want to show you an easy, quick, and humidity friendly as possible make up routine, for those days when I really want to look more polished.

To conceal darkness or any other, I love to use the Maybelline Age rewind concealer.
The coverage is amazing, yet not cakey.

Since foundations tend to feel heavier when you are in hot weather a powder foundation is defenitely going to be friendlier and lightweight on the skin.
Make up Forever's Duo mat is a great choice since it provides buildable/ matte coverage.

To give the skin warmth and more definition, a matte bronzer is a must have! Just apply some on the hollows of your cheeks and even lightly around the face to complete the look. Tarte's Park Avenue princess is a matte bronzer and I love the natural finish it provides.

If you want to add a little bit of color on your cheeks. A soft pink blush can give a fresh finish. Any soft pink would work. MAC Lovecloud is one of my favorites.

Lashes are so important when it comes to make up. Using the right mascara can open your eyes and make you look fresh and awake. The L'oreal Telescopic Shocking extensions mascara has become one of my ultimate favorites. The way the wand separates the lashes, makes them look beautifully longer!

And lastly,we can not forget about the lips. Personally, I love bold lip colors. It is the easiest way to spice up your make up or even your outfit! I am obsessed with the new Maybelline Vivids as I have mentioned before. They are super pigmented and the variety of shades are absolutely gorgeous! This one is Fuschia Flash.

If you are not a fan of lipsticks, a lip gloss is another way to go.

The "Kiss me" lip glosses from Philosophy are not sticky and they give that luscious look.
