Coral- Minty Pop!

Hecho a mano Top/ Brown Pants (old)/ Old Navy Necklace and rings/ Disenos Lala lala Mint Turban/ Burlignton sandals/ Claires earrings/ Charlotte Russe bangles/ Pandora Turquoise ring

Today I am having as a guest blogger no other than my sister Nicole. She is one of my four sisters and the one that resembles me the most haha.

I absolutely love her style. As you guys know, she came to visit and the idea of having a photo shoot together seemed like a good idea! I am so glad we did, now I have lots of pictures to to treasure :)

As her style goes, she loves to play with color and her laid back looks are always cool and comfy. It definitely goes with the caribbean vibe of Puerto Rico where she resides.

Her easy- breezy outfit was perfect for the warmer weather we were having in South Florida that day. Pops of coral and mint made this outfit one I wanted to wear myself!

Like I mentioned in my last post, we took these photos at Wynwood, and I was glad she loved the area as much as we do!

I hope you guys enjoy the post!
Take care
xo

Sisterly Love

What I am wearing: Disenos Lala lala Olive Turban/ Nastygal Fringe top/Forever21 Maxi skirt-bangles-rings/Oasap sandals

Hi my loves,
I am so excited to share this post with you! My sister came to visit me (hence the lack of posts) and we had such a great time. It felt I had a piece of Puerto Rico with me for a few days. On Saturday, we took her to Wynwood and we had a day of murals scouting, Panther Cafe coffee, and yummy pastries. We also did a little shooting and we loved how it came out. I hope you guys love it too!

We got lots of great pics so I will be doing a separate blog post about her outfit and details so stay tuned for that!

About my outfit, I have been obsessed with fringe, maxi skirts, and cut out sandals lately... and they all seemed perfect to be worn all at the same time. These awesome cut out sandals from Oasap are the latest addition to my shoe collection! I love that they are this mix of a boot and a sandal. Aren't they cuute?

I hope you guys have an amazing week
xoxo

Hair Care Routine

Hi loves!
Today I am sharing my hair care routine since I always get asked about it :)
These are the products I use on a daily basis and absolutely love.
My routine is quite simple but nevertheless here it is!

 Tresseme Tres Two Hairspray
I have tried other brands and always come back to this one. It is inexpensive, and holds my curls pretty good! The scent is not the best one but I am ok with that.
$4

Herbal Essences Tea-lightfully Clean
I have really oily hair. What I love about this shampoo is the fact that it deeply cleanses without drying my scalp too much. The tea tree oil scent is really pleasant and my hair feels so soft. No heavy feeling or greasiness.
$4

Garnier Fructis Fall Fight Conditioner
This is a very rich conditioner so if you have oily hair like me avoid applying it directly to the scalp. A little bit goes a loong way as well. When I want to sport very sleek hair, this is the perfect product for it.
$3.99

Red Ken Smooth Lock Heat Protectant
I have been using this product for years and I love how it protects, controls frizz, and smooths hair for a silky look.
Again, just a little drop is all you need.
$16.50

Brilliance New York Diamond Drops
I got this bottle a couple years ago along with my flat iron   ( 1"Diamond Flat iron) from the same company. It is on the expensive side but since you just need a little bit I still haven't run out! My hair is in pretty good condition but my ends are another story. Just a little drops and this makes my hair look a million bucks. Makes it look really healthy and shiny.
$99

Briliance New York 1" Diamond Flat Iron
I got this as a present a couple of years ago and it is an amazing flat iron. It really helps me to do my hairstyles pretty quickly and it does not damage hair as bad as other ones I have own.
$79.99

I hope this post was helpful and
 have a great day/night

Spring/ Summer Wishlist

It's getting warmer and warmer and I feel the need to have lighter, flowy pieces of clothing that can allow me to be comfortable as the temperatures slowly rise up. I am loving this tee from Gypsan since it looks very lightweight  and comfy. A nice big bag is always a must in my book and this one from Free people is definitely my dream bag!

The Uncommen Wren is a very unique store that I found through Instagram and their jewelry is totally amazing. I fell in love with this necklace which makes it perfect for layering. I am a sucker for tunics and this one from Free People has me head over heels. It has that flowy factor that I love!

You guys know about my turban addiction right?
So I guess it is not a surprise that I am wanting another one from Disenos Lala lala. I mean, just look at it!
Like I mentioned in another post. I am still very interested in  the Anastasia brow pomade since I keep hearing raves about it.
OCC came out with these new pencils and they look super fun! I have been on the hunt for the perfect coral lip liner and Grandma looks like it.

Last but not least let's take a moment of silence and admire these beautiful Forever21 shoes! I soooo want them. It has the kind of heel that is perfect for daytime. The buckles on the side is what I love the most.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and let me know
what are you guys wishing for!

Chasing Dreams

Hi guys!
I hope you had an awesome weekend. We are back from a quick mini trip to Orlando and we even got some cold weather there, it was quite unexpected since its been kind of warm in Fort Lauderdale.

Today I wanted to share some beautiful images that I saw browsing through Pinterest last week. I haven't been very into it so I decided to give it another chance and created a couple of new boards. If you wanna see my Pinterest world you can find me here.

Down below you can find some links of stores where you can get the perfect bohemian pieces for your wardrobe.

Enjoy!

Ultimate Staples

Hi my loves,
Today I wanted to give you an update about my ultimate make up and hair staples. These are products that I have either repurchased or been using for a long time and would definitely recommend!

1.Batiste Dry Shampoo
I have really oily hair and this dry shampoo is the only one that gives me pretty decent results. I love the original version better than this one, just because of the scent which is a little overwhelming.

2.L'oreal Telescopic Mascara
If you are looking for a really good lengthening mascara this is it!  I love how the wand separates the lashes and even with multiple coats, it does not look clumpy! It gives the lashes a beautiful feathered effect.

3.Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer
I am pretty sure I have mentioned this one before. I still love to use this product to give my brows that clean, perfected look.
My shade is Warm neutral and I just love the consistency of it.

4.NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
This is the best base for any eye shadow! I have been using this for years. I use this every time I do my make up to make the eye shadows pop and give them more lasting power along with my eye primer.

5.The Balm Fratboy Blush
This blush has a beautiful sheen and gives you that healthy blushed skin look! It is a very versatile shade and doubles as an eye shadow!

6. Sonia Kashuk Velvet Lip Crayon in Blossomy Nude
This is the perfect nude for my skin tone. It could be a little drying but I don't mind it. It has a great staying power.

7.Tarte Park Avenue Princess Bronzer
Even though this shade is too light for my liking I ended up using this to contour my nose and loove it. It makes it look really natural.

8.MAC Impassioned Lipstick
This is my go- to lipstick!
If I am in a hurry, this is the lipstick I gravitate towards to. Actually, even when I am not in a hurry this is the lipstick I still tend to grab lol. Lots of mascara and a soft pink blush makes me look fresh and put together!

9.Urban Decay Naked Palette
Since I bought this palette when it first came out, 90% of the time I use it! My most used colors are Buck, Naked, Hustle, Sin, and  Halk Baked. These neutrals look amazing and the texture of these shadows are top notch! I am so glad that all of these come as singles as well.

What are your ultimate staples?
Would love to know!

The Oscars 2014 Favorite moments and Fashion

Hello my loves!
Monday sneaked in and the weekend is all behind us. Last night, I watched the Oscars and I must say it was pretty entertaining!
Beautiful speeches, amazing performances, some funny moments, and of course breathtaking gowns.

My two favorites speeches of the night were Mathew Mcconaughey and Jared Leto. They were both very heart warming. U2 sang one of their nominated songs " Ordinary Love" in an acoustic version that I absolutely fell in love with.
Pink, wearing a beautiful red sparkly gown sang her heart out in "Over the rainbow", and Bette Midler gave me the goosies singing the song "Wind beneath my wings" in a segment honoring the recently deceased talents. She got a standing ovation and she really deserved it!

Of course, I can't forget to mention the epic moment when  Ellen DeGeneres decided to take a "selfie" with a group of actors. It was a great funny moment in the show as well.

Last but not least, here are my favorite looks.
The ones that made me totally gasp!

 Lupita Nyong'o in Prada

Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace

 Emma Watson In Vera Wang

Sandra Bullock in Alexander McQueen

Charlize Theron in Christian Dior

Which ones were your favorite moments and looks?

Royal Blue

It seems like Royal Blue is popping everywhere lately. Personally, I love blue and this particular hue is one of my faves. You guys already know my love for brights. They are fun, and can definitely
make you stand out in the crowd!
Sometimes bold colors can be a little intimidating at first. However, there are different ways to play around with them. Here are some inspirational pictures on how to style Royal Blue.

Pictures from Pinterest

As you can see, there's no reason to be afraid of brights. If you don't feel comfortable wearing them, a fresh mani seems also like a great way to sport the color trend.
